TPC Boston was originally designed by Arnold Palmer in 2003 and recently redesigned somewhat by Gil Hanse and Brad Faxon. It now plays to a par 71 over 7,214 yards. Although its a modern course, it has a traditional New England feel. It features its own drivable par 4 (4th) and a 600 yard par 5 featuring a New England version of Pine Valley’s Hell’s Half Acre (7th). The closing hole is a great risk reward hole that will see its share of birdies and bogies as golfers hope to keep their playoff chance alive.
