SherCo Classic 1962 Season (DL)

SKU: SHR-1962DL Category:

1962 was the year that the transplanted Giants came within mere inches of a world’s championship.  Willie McCovey’s liner was snared by the leaping Bobby Richardson in Game Seven to preserve another Yankee championship.
1962 was also the year for the first expansion of the National League to ten teams with the addition of clubs in Houston and New York.  The New York entry, managed by Casey Stengel, went on to amass a 40-120 record, one of the worst seasons on record, prompting Stengel to ask at one point during the season, “Can’t anyone here play this game?”
Enjoy the antics of the Mets with SherCo … see if you can do better than Casey, or if your Giants can cop the crown.
