Built on a landfill isn’t usually on the resume of a world class golf course. But its the history of Jersey City’s Liberty National Golf Club. Of course, it also boasts the best (and only) view of the Statue of Liberty of any other course in the world. Because of its location, it was specifically built with the idea of hosting major events in mind. Since 2009 it has been part of the regular rotation for The Barclays (now The Northern Trust), the first leg of the Fedex Cup playoff series. Heath Slocum was the 2009 winner, and Adam Scott prevailed in 2013. In 2017 Liberty National hosted The Presidents Cup, which you can host with the ASG 2017 Season. The ASG version plays to a par 72 at a healthy 7,387 yards.
