2017-18 Hoops Pro Basketball Season
The Hoops 2017-18 season set features 12 players per team based on final rosters. The Golden State Warriors won their third championship in the past four years, once again by defeating their rival Cleveland Cavaliers. The road to the championship was not so smooth for this Golden State team, however, as the tandem of James Harden and Chris Paul propelled the Houston Rockets to a league leading 65 wins and pushed the Warriors to Game 7 in the Western Conference Finals. Other strong teams include the Toronto Raptors and Boston Celtics, both sure to challenge the Cavaliers for Eastern Conference bragging rights on the tapletop. Interesting storylines include the emergence of the Philadelphia 76’ers, improvement of the Indiana Pacers behind Most Improved Player Victor Oladipo, rookie phenom Donovan Mitchell helping to propel the Jazz to 48 wins, and a crowded playoff seed battle in the Western Conference, with eight teams registering between 42 and 49 wins.
