Bermuda Dunes (PC)
A long time mainstay of the Bob Hope Desert Classic in all its numerous names and variations from 1960-2007, Only Augusta and Pebble Beach have a longer association with the PGA than Bermuda Dunes. It is not the hardest or longest course on tour at 7017 yards and a par of 72. But it wasn’t the easiest course in the Hope tournament, which traditionally had some of the lowest scores on tour from year to year. The toughest hole is the 215 yard par 3 17th. Spike McRoy set the course record of 61 in 2001. Bermuda Dunes was once the home of both Clark Gable and Cary Grant.
